Battlegrounds makes it possible to follow his advice when crossing roads within the game as it is possible to hold [RB] to lock Heading as you Free Look left and right without having the Right Stick side effect your motion so that you zig-zag across the road as it temporarily no longer affects your Heading by conflating Look with Turn.
