UNDECEMBER - Frost Strike & Frost Shock Freeze Build | Act5 Showcase (Gear+Zodiac)
31Here I showcase Frost Strike & Frost Shock skills in Undecember. Fighting against our old pal Christen, final boss of Episode 1 Act 5.
I always wanted to do a melee build, and I thought I needed some ICE in my life, so this is the result, interestingly enough, not many people are running this amazing freeze-to-win build. Also not many people seem to know how effective 'Chill' debuff effect is against bosses, specially fast ones.
Using dual axes, with a unique lv 7 axe that I got as a drop when I made this account (like destiny) which increases cold dmg and adds +10 freeze rate (about 7-8% freeze chance) to the build. You can actually use 2 of these axes and get even higher freeze rate for very cheap. As you can see, I'm focusing more on utility and tankiness over just raw DPS, yet the DPS is good enough to take down the mobs and boss quite easily.
Do you like this build? Getting Area of Effect bonuses and attack speed for just some extra big freezing build is just beautiful. I'll upload another video of this build against Act 10 final boss "Serpens" when I get there.
