Understanding the Caro-Kann structure and strategy · Training Game
Caro-Kann strategy, and positional understanding, as well as navigating the common structures and pawn breaks is the key to improvement in the opening. Understanding the pawn structure means that you know where your pieces belong, what's weak, where the pawn breaks are, and you also don't waste a ton of time. This game was a great example of that.
