I highly recommend using Sodium/Optifine if you're on Java as it's quite a big map, and having the render distance 20+ if possible, but 16 is the default render we use on the server when building.
Also the GammaUtils mod is very useful for pressing a button for night vision and dark areas! which is great for the build when not everything is well lit lmao
