1Glenn Taylor is a blacksmith in the medieval town of Cartaria, an anomaly in the kingdom where they elect a mayor to run the town instead of being ruled by an appointed lord. He lives a quiet and happy life, but how will he react when the death of the king and the arrival of a mysterious figure throw the upcoming election into chaos?
I wrote this short story back in February, and after some heavy revisions, I decided to upload it to YouTube. This story is a first look into the world and story of a game I plan to develop later in life called Means of Ascent, which is named after the second part of Robert Caro's biography of Lyndon B. Johnson. I hope you enjoy!
