It's a SPOOK-TACULAR night!

Long before the MCU and DCEU, there was the Universal Monsters cinematic universe! Frankenstein, Dracula, the Invisible Man, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Wolf-Man. Only back then the concept of cinematic universe wasn't a big deal.

Tonight we're looking back at the Universal Monsters of the 1930s and 40s and discussing why these films had such a cultural impact and continue to be icons today. We will also discuss one of the first GREATEST cinematic trilogies: The Frankenstein Trilogy. Yes, starting with Frankenstein (1931) starring Boris Karloff, The Bride of Frankenstein (1935), and concluding with The Son of Frankenstein (1939).
