Here's a quick video to show an interesting Sonic The Hedgehog bootleg I recently bought for my Game Boy Advance. It's called 'Sonic 3 - Fighter Sonic' and the really cool thing is it isn't simply a pirate dump of an official Sonic The Hedgehog game. It's actually a completely separate and unlicensed bootleg game. More comparable to a fan made game or a ROM hack. From what I understand, it was made by a Taiwanese company who also made similar Rayman and Spiderman GBA games using the same software engine and game sounds.

The game is pretty terrible but I suppose you've got to give them props for not simply pirating an original game. Yeah they've ripped sprites and sounds from other games but at least they attempted to make something a little different/unique. To date this ROM has not yet been successfully dumped. Currently the only way to play it is to track down a real copy of the bootleg.

I have tried to dump the ROM myself but it appears to be copy protected in some way. I can dump the cart easily enough but the resulting 32MB .gba file appears to be blank (possibly encrypted in some way?). I'll upload a dump just in case some 1337 h4x0rz can get it edited and running on an emulator.
