I haven't seen anybody figure this out yet, but you can actually do a "challenge run" of my game Unlock Everything by skipping various upgrades. You can skip the following unlocks:
- Menu Music
- Menu Graphic
- Menu Particles
- Health (meaning, one hit kills you always)
- Background Art
- Buster Ammo
- Autofire
- Health recharge (not that it does anything anyways since your max health is 2)

This is only my second run at this so there are a bunch of deaths and such, but it could definitely be optimized. If I have the time I'll try to implement a speedrun time counter and some quality of life improvements like skipping the lengthy cutscenes...
