0The Unreal Engine is a game engine developed by Epic Games, first showcased in the 1998 first-person shooter game Unreal. This is the technology demo published by Epic Games 6.9.2000.
Although initially developed for first-person shooters, it has been successfully used in a variety of other genres, including platformers, fighting games, MMORPGs, and other RPGs
This is old findings from the original FTP archive of our old games site. This was available for download back then in the FTP in 2001.

It was a popular gaming destination with news, reviews, articles, online games, servers and FTP file service. Some of the FTP site content survived in backups after the site was closed.
