The survivors are approached by a stranger (who I refer to as Mr. Plot Device), and learn of the mountain's true threat.

I missed one clue here, and it was a pretty obvious one. I pointed it out in the video, but when you get the book with information on the Wendigo, remember to flick back a page as you don't start on the introduction. I didn't think it worthwhile to replay the entire chapter for the sake of one clue.

* This chapter's alternative title is Animus.
* Emily will die if she fails too many QTEs and reacts too slow, as the Wendigo will catch up to her.
* If Emily stays on the first conveyer belt, she'll need to do a QTE. Failing them will lead to her death via a meat grinder.
* If she has the flare gun, she can prevent herself from getting bitten.
* If Chris knocked out Josh before, Mike will refuse to let Chris have the gun if demanded.
* If Chris is too slow shooting the Wendigo, he will die.
* If Chris tried to shoot Ashley in chapter 6 (regardless of if she asked him to), she won't talk to him as he leaves and she won't save him, so he will be killed.
* If Emily wasn't bitten, the option to shoot her never occurs. Whether Mike shoots her or not, you'll get one of two trophies.
