Until Dawn is a PlayStation 4 exclusive game with an exciting storyline: teen horror game. The game is an interactive adventure very similar to the style of the modern classic Heavy Rain, in which it is possible to control characters, with interaction throughout the scenario and many dialogues.

Supermassive Games seems to deliberately offer plots and characters that will feel very familiar with gamers who happen to love slasher/horror films so far, both from the side of the story and the existing characters. Cliches, the fabric of characters, is taken from 8 characters, each of whom represents the distinctive personality of the film slasher so far.
You will be playing Sam. She is the bail-good woman, Josh is the “strange” man. Mike was the handsome and playboy man, Jessica, his boyfriend, Matt - an athletic man with an insecure feeling which is so apparent, Emily is the super-smart woman who is also annoying, Chris - the geek who blends in, and Ashley is his boyfriend. Chris feels too unusual. Until Dawn’s story will be formulated from the perspective of the eight characters, from one sequence to another.

The gameplay is very smooth and pretty. A cheerful group of “teenagers” decides to throw a wild party in a country house with alcohol, music, and naked bodies. But something goes wrong, and the twin sisters Hannah and Beth are missing, and no one will know anything about their terrible fate. A year after these awful events, the guys once again decide to get together in the ill-fated house two purposes. To honour the memory of “good” friends and together come off to the fullest. The subsequent events, other than tragedy and outright horror, are hard to name. But that’s why it is a horror game to scare you somehow, and not show pink ponies grazing peacefully against the backdrop of beautiful meadows and beautiful castles.

When it comes to the gameplay itself, then you should not expect something super outstanding, after all, before the game was imprisoned for the PlayStation Move. A quick click on individual buttons has something in common with mini-games for firing targets or throwing snowballs with time dilation. To the Heavy Rain level, the first significant project of Supermassive Games, of course, far, but no one slides to the level of Beyond: Two Souls, because the same QTE-scenes in the game can somehow affect the further course of events. They pressed the wrong button while moving - one of the heroes screamed down from the cliff with a terrible scream. They didn’t “hold their breath” when a maniac appeared - get to know a stranger’s big saw better. The feeling of unpredictability that has been lacking for so long will finally return to you. There are two types of gameplay: one with traditional controls and one that uses the DualShock 4 motion sensor. Both options are good and work very well, but if you want more realism for the game, the second is recommended.
The game can give the player too much support and, even with precise controls, help can hinder the experience. The excess of didacticism is terrible for an adventure that tries to build an atmosphere of horror and survival.

Conclusion
Until Dawn is simple, loud, and funny at the same time, but, believe me, in the best possible way. Besides, the game has excellent graphics and controls that respond well. The criticism goes only to the lack of real consequences in the choices for each character. This may not be the type of adventure for all users, but Heavy Rain fans, for example, should enjoy the horrible journey.
Until Dawn has become an oppressive adventure that I found very addictive and therefore played out in one go. The game plays like an interactive movie, and the story is well thought out and more than entertaining. The excellent acting and voice acting are for a new level of the game. If you really want to play something different, then Until Dawn is a must! As a pure game, it may be a bit sparse for some, but I wouldn’t have missed it!
