Unused Game Content ~ Harvest Moon 3 GBC DEBUG MENU MODE
The ending: WUT
Oh well at least it has a Game Boy Roadhouse Blues going on there and some of the music from the Playstation version.
Seriously, that ending. WAT. No plot. Just WAT
I'm so glad I don't have to play these games ever again.
Planned Super Game Boy Support
Like Pokemon Crystal, several Super Game Boy features exist but are either disabled or unused; only palette settings and the other basic commands load that Harvest Moon 2 also uses. To enable them, either modify the Super Game Boy flag at 0x146 to 03 or use the Game Genie code 031-46F-E6A. Likely added early on some time when the game was compatible with all Game Boy consoles.
Super Game Boy packets start at 0x0B68, 0x0BA6 and end at 0x67A5, 0x68A5.

Debug Menu
Game Genie code 012-96F-3B2 starts the game in a debug menu offering time settings, event testing, area warping, item modifiers, and a sound test. The Japanese version shows the text 0710 1452 which is likely a build version number.
The options present in this menu are:
Time Set - Set the game's time settings.
Program Jump - Warp to any area in the game. Text for all versions are in Japanese.
Item Level Set - Set the level status of each item.
S Taneset - Seed item modifiers.
H Taneset - Hoe item modifiers.
Playr Set - Sets the Player's Gender and pet.
Kawa Test - Modifies event data settings. Also plays the minigames.
Soundtest - Basic sound test.
Tuushin - Start a trade
This is why farm simulators shouldn't be games for any reason.
