Recent leaks have shed light on their kits, elements, weapons, and gameplay. While initial speculation suggested they would be a unique 2-in-1 unit, it turns out they will be separate characters. Lyney, a 5-star Pyro unit, wields a Bow and is expected to serve as a primary on-field DPS character, relying on Charged Attacks akin to Ganyu and Tighnari. He excels against Single Target enemies, making him a potent DPS option. Lyney's signature weapon boasts high base attack and Crit Damage, with the added bonuses of Pyro damage and Elemental Mastery through its passive ability. In contrast, Lynette, rumored to be Lyney's twin sister, is anticipated to be a 4-star Anemo unit who wields a Sword. Her kit appears to revolve around a supportive role tailored to synergize with Lyney's playstyle. Leaks suggest Lynette can summon an Anemo spirit through her Elemental Skill, which creates elemental swirl effects. Additionally, while Lynette is off the field, her Elemental Skill imbues the active Bow unit's Charged Attack with Anemo.
