Upgrading a PlayStation 5 with 1 TB of SSD (Built-In Heatsink)
I'd like to subtitle this video "If I can do it, anyone can do it" because I'm far from the most mechanically inclined guy out there. First though subscribe to Mistah MegaManFan if you like and appreciate the content -- a thumbs up and a comment helps out a lot too! Anyway I want to give full credit to @SpawnWave for the excellent tutorial he provided on how to upgrade your PlayStation 5 with SSD storage. It's not an incredibly complicated installation but it still helped to watch him go through the steps one by one, which gave me confidence to try doing it myself. You pop the cover off the console, you unscrew one plate and one mounting bolt, you push the SSD into the slot until it clicks into place, then reassemble. I'm frankly stunned at how easy Sony made this to do and the fact it worked on the first try! There are no product links and this video is not sponsored, so get whichever SSD you like that's rated for the speed and size to fit a PS5. I chose Aorus because it had a built-in heatsink and got good enough product reviews to make me think it would work. So it does!
