Upward, a type-in listing from ANALOG Computing issue 59 (April 1988), is a fun platformer for Atari 8-bit composed in the programming language Action! It challenges you to make it out of a deep, dank and undoubtedly smelly cave before either your strength or your air supply runs out. Or, indeed, before you fall into one of the many pits of fatal red goo lying around...

Atari A to Z is a weekly series that gradually works its way through the Atari 8-bit's catalogue of games, one letter at a time. Once we get to Z, we go back to A and start all over again!
