Usagi Yojimbo: 04: Saving the Prince
So, this is it, the final assault on the fortress where Lord Noriyuki is being held. All manner of opposition awaits us inside, from swordsmen, samurai, and ninja, to even the monks.
This is not going to be easy, that's for sure.
This was a relatively short game, but what else could you expect being put on a cassette tape at the time? Still, for being a cassette game for the C64, the graphics and the music are fantastic, and whilst the controls are terrible, being set up for single-button joysticks, the fact that you are given loads of things to do in this short game does show this was at least partially a passion project. I don't know what Mr. Sakai thinks about this game, but I hope he doesn't think too poorly of it.
What's up next? Well, it'll be another lone wanderer, but the gameplay mechanic will be vastly different.
