At night, it pays to be a bit cautious.
At day, it pays to be bold!

After surviving your first night, it's time to use daylight to make some big plays. Go for a longer distance loot run to a loot rich location. If you're not sure where those are, focus on looking for buildings with logical loot drops: warehouses for materials, supermarkets for food, clinics for medicine and so forth. Daytime is great for exploration and looting.
