In Engitopia Part 5, I use the most efficient highway junction layout ever to explain how real highways are designed in real life. As a real highway designer of over 8 years, I discuss the basic principles of horizontal and vertical alignment design, crossfall, longfall, curve radii, design speeds, transitions and reducing cost whilst making a super realistic junction in Cities Skylines. I then add a few more areas onto Engitopia, as I unlock more new things to play with.
