16VAIL is back and out of early access with a full release on Steam and Meta Quest! The game features high-fidelity physics-based combat and ensures a smoother gaming experience upon shifting to Unreal Engine 5. The game has launched with a matchmaking system and an in-game progression system for unlocking weapons and aesthetics. Vail also offers an account linking system to link your quest and steam versions and share progress between platforms. It has introduced new weapons, new maps called Atmos and Void, and a friends and party system. Additionally, the developers have launched leaderboards and stats on their website.
Vail has the most potential to become a VR e-sport game, with an increased focus on making the game highly competitive, and the inclusion of features like spectator-friendly viewing and live streaming.
