This is gameplay of Valis II for MSX2-compatible PCs. This was emulated with BlueMSX with the machine type set to "MSX2 - Only PSG". As it turns out, Valis II CAN run on an MSX2 without the FM-PAC, and it sounds quite good considering the limitations of the PSG chip!
The video goes until the 3rd part of Act 4, where I died. I'm not sure what caused the graphics corruption in the visual scene after Act 3, though.
