In the swarm of unreleased production content from almost all of Valve's games, a folder of all released and unreleased Team Fortress 2 maps seemed to slip through the cracks. Over 200 different levels, including everything ever released through patches, combing through it took 12 hours.

One of those unreleased levels was a attack/defend map called cp_caves. Why does this layout seem so familiar, and why did Valve farm out what appeared to be a finished map to the community? They didn't delete everything by mistake, did they?
