Finally sat down to watch Captain Laserhawk; I liked it. I think some people were too hard on the series-- since all I saw were negative views, not like this was the most mindblowing, showstopping media you'll ever see... but it didn't have to be. It had an interesting story, a fun universe and I think the most disappointing thing was how short it felt, and not many characters live-- kinda didn't enjoy that. But I understand for this story-- that is how it is!
ANYWAYS-- I did of course enjoy the dynamic and relationship between Laserhawk and his ex; y'all know I love those love/hate situations... I actually wasn't mad that Laserhawk killed him in the end... some people said it was bad gay rep or whatever, but I actually thought it worked a lot for the story, if we only take the wholesome and "good" rep we reduce it to "they can only ever be proper, clean and respectable" which I feel is a great disservice to what we can have represented. We gotta have a little toxic yaoi now and again, it's just natural!
