Grabbing some footage from Elysium Project for an upcoming video. It's going to be like the Halo hype video in a way.

I miss the classic weather effects. The snow, the rain storms. They look and sound absolutely striking. WoW like many modern games now run on newer operating systems which means they've all collectively dropped support for EAX sound. Ever play an old game on a newer OS and you feel like the sound or atmosphere feels a bit void? Developers programmed their games around EAX sound and it's been removed in newer operating system versions. Blizzard also removed the weather crazy weather effects although there is sometimes light rain in places like Elwynn Forest.

Despite all its improvements to the engine in the game we have now, vanilla WoW is refreshingly beautiful.
