[Verified] Moving Forward by crohn44 (Extreme Demon) | Geometry Dash
1,059Here it is y'all! My first Extreme Demon and first verification of 2024, Crohn's final level and the official sequel to Glide: Moving Forward.
For those who haven't known me for too long, I was the first victor of Glide back in May 2019. This marked the start of a new era for me as a player, and Glide still holds a special place in my heart today.
When i first saw the previews of this, I fell in love with it, as I have with all of Crohn's creations.
Unfortunately, unlike with his other levels, Crohn decided to not verify this one himself. Crohn and I had a conversation back in August about me possibly verifying, however I was busy with Zodiac, and I then took that social media break shortly afterwards. The level then went to Zipi. The rest of this story is explained in the video.
As for the level itself, it is goddamn hard. As per usual, I have no idea how hard, besides the fact that it's much harder than Glide, and probably Sunset as well.
This took 8 streams (which are being worked on for a highlight video as I'm typing this :D), which is kind of a lot for me. The only way to know just how hard this is, is for people to play it, which shouldn't take too long.
As for the balancing, I explain this in the video.
There were a few updates to the deco ever since the showcase, mainly in the drop. I think it looks a lot nicer, and I hope you guys think so too.
All in all, this was mostly a very chill experience, and I'm very glad and grateful that I could be the one to get this level released.
Shoutouts to the two previous verifiers, @zipital and @KNOEPPEL. Show them both some love.
Sadly, again, this is Crohn's final GD project, which is very bittersweet, as someone who has been following almost his entire creating journey.
Crohn, you're a huge inspiration to so many people, and I'm very proud of what you've brought to the community throughout the years. You're an amazing person, and an even better friend.
