We have waited for months heard all the rumors. But on Dec 15th, the wait for what we once thought the Nexus Prime ended with the official US launch of the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. The latest in the line of Nexus Google flavored devices, that runs the company's latest operating system; Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Galaxy Nexus is the first smartphone, Android, iOS , or Windows phone to not have an physical or touch sensitive buttons on the front of the device, frankly there are only two sets of buttons on the device; the Volume rockr and power button. The Hardware is designed follow the styling s of the Nexus S with its contour screen and the USA Sprint & T-Mobile Galaxy S2 variants. It also sports a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display(screen resolution 720P), giving users a flat screen TV in the palm of their hands. It is power by a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor with 1GB ram for smooth operations; which you will notice once you start playing around with the OS. Its sports a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash in the rear and a 1.3 megapixel camera for video chatting in front. NFC capable and houses a Verizon wireless 4G LTE chip.

Lets talk about the Galaxy Nexus Hardware; the Super AMOLED 720p display is a thing of beauty. Colors are rich and clear, pictures do stand out and you will first notice it with the wallpaper. But the best way to enjoy the SUPER AMOLED HD Screen is to watch a HD movie on it. I mean it is like watching butter melt in your hands. The Video is vivid and clear, and feels like you are watching on a larger HD set. And yes blacks are black., if you are not sure of what i I mean, pay attention to the first half of the video review .Besides anything else, this is the one true defining feature of the Galaxy Nexus

Conclusion
The Galaxy Nexus is pretty much what we expected it to be, the ushering of a new era in the Android space. A combination of Great Hardware from Samsung, with much needed software upgrade from Google. Coupled with Verizon 4G LTE network. You have a device that can not be missed or taken for granted.
Yes there are some things that still erk me about the Galaxy Nexus, like the camera. Which doesn't live up to Samsung's own standards
