0An easy exercise to start thinking about the structure of Verse and Chorus.
The Chorus goes:
"That was the Verse and this is the Chorus"
"That was the Verse and this is the Chorus"
"That was the Verse and this is the Chorus"
"That was the Verse! And this is the Chorus"
Persons take turns giving their Verse 4 distinct sentences. Avoid using "and" or "because" or other run-on sentence hangups. Practice 4 lines of clear statements that each end with a period (.) The prompt typically is, tell us something you did this week during your Verse.
And the Chorus is fun and so simple - an easy repeat of the same line 4 times with a change musically in how the last line is sung!
