Uploader's comments: The second entry for Archrival Month is Sonic-related. Sonic the Hedgehog faces his long-time arch nemesis Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik. There has been a debate in the comment section of my announcement video whether Eggman was the right "rival" for Sonic. While I replied to that with "I prefer his themes, so it's gonna be him", there is a conviction behind this thought, that Eggman in fact is the one and only rival for Sonic. Although it IS true that I really like his themes.

This song does not illustrate a final battle. It instead illustrates the countless times both clashed in one way or another and the many times that still lay before us. An endless rivalry indeed.
