Violett is a graphically gorgeous game, with elements of Pan's Labyrinth, Alice in Wonderland, and Coraline. However, the freedom in the game progression leaves players feeling lost. And having no explicit story to follow in this unknown world, leaves the player to just randomly click everything they see, until they find something actionable.
This is one of many Indie games on the Switch eShop which astounds with its graphics, and a massive potential, but falls just short of the mark for its intended genre...
