Violin + Live Electronics Setup (OB 6, Squarp Pyramid & Strymon BigSky) // Enya - May it Be
Happy January!
I've recently been rewatching all of the old Lord of the Rings films and got inspired to film an Enya cover! I also love #synths, and Electronic Music Performance, so I thought I'd combine the violin with live electronics :)
The cover was recorded and mixed in Logic Pro X. I recorded in a Sequential #OB6 synth, my #violin (using the DPA Microphones 4099 mic), and added reverb using the #Strymon #BigSky pedal.

LYRICS (if you feel like singing along...)
May it be an evening star
Shines down upon you
May it be when darkness falls
Your heart will be true
You walk a lonely road
Oh, how far you are from home
Mornie utulie
Believe and you will find your way
Mornie alantie
A promise lives within you now
May it be the shadow's call will fly away
May it be your journey on to light the day
When the night is overcome
You may rise to find the sun
Mornie utulie
Believe and you will find your way
Mornie alantie
A promise lives within you now
A promise lives within you now
