I've uploaded some 2 Player Virtua Racing LAN games in the past using cabMAME. This time It's a 3 player single system game using MAME 170b. The 4th screen is open for symmetry because it's easier to resize the screens when playing that way (using the option from the task bar to display windows side-by-side), but also it's cool to have the live cam working.

At present although the newer version of MAME can now use global inputs (so, with multiple versions of MAME open the windows that aren't in focus will still respond to inputs) this will only work for raw input devices, not direct or xinput input ones. This meant that one lucky player got to use a joypad and the other two had to share the keyboard. In both of these games I'm using keyboard and I do terribly... it's really hard to avoid over-steering when you don't have the benefit of analog controls. I'm Player 3 (Yellow) in both games, my mates Neil and Lights are taking it in turns to be player 1 (Red) and Player 2 (Blue) in the first and second games. Neil is Player 1 in the first game and gets to use the joypad. Lights gets it second time around,

I guess I could use joy2key as a workaround for the pads, but that still wouldn't provide analog steering...
