alljoyn http://www.netbooknews.com AllJoyn is a software framework that enables easy Peer-to-Peer access, developers are now able to integrate this code provided by Qualcomm rather then build functionality from scratch. If you're looking to create a real life network off the network AllJoyn allows you to access others devices using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Why this technology is worth keeping an eye on it that it solves issues of discovery, pairing, security, protocol allowing the devices in the room to talk to each other.
