I couldn't grit through all of Virtual Hydlide, so shoutout to them for somehow being able to.
I'm going with Septeber 1995 for the release month. Magazine ads began appearing in October with a Sega Visions review quote. Sega Visions says it came out in September: https://imgur.com/a/NGSVMGF
The game's files show a final build being completed on June 29th, 1995, so a September release is more than plausible. The American release date for Virtual Hydlide is poorly documented, much like the rest of the U.S. Saturn library.
