I've had some awesome experiences with the Vive VR kit so far, but this game is the one I think I enjoy the most as an actual game, rather than a semi passive experience. It's incredible! Every interaction in this game is ONLY possible in VR with the extremely accurate hand controllers, and it's a completely different experience to 'normal' videogames (where you usually press R to reload and don't have to aim). And this video captures maybe 50% of the experience of actually seeing it in first person VR.

I've been to a firing range a few times in the USA, and fired all sorts of weapons, and I've always been struck by how different real weapons are compared to videogame weapons. Videogame weapons are basically nothing like real weapons, in any way. This game is much, much closer to the real thing. And you actually have to prepare - get the sidearm loaded and ready and in its "holster", get your ammo mags loaded onto your body, then prep the main weapon and get ready. And I still messed it up! The more pressure you are under the more mistakes you tend to make in reloading and operating the gun. But switching to your sidearm when your main weapon is empty feels totally badass.

I think there's an incredible future in VR games, and we're only just starting to figure out what's possible and what works. One of the most common "Anti-VR" opinions I've heard is that it's going to die just like 3d TV did. Believe me when I say that 3d TV never had anything like this. It's not really the 3D at all - it's the controllers. The 3d gets you a sense of scale and place. The controllers and your ability to interact with the world is actually what's astonishing.
