Vivo X Note Review | Huge AMOLED Display & Zeiss Optics
Chinese Vivo held a big event in China today, during which the company's new flagship, the Vivo X Note, was unveiled.
Users get a huge device with a 7-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED screen with a 21:10 aspect ratio, 2K+ resolution (3080 x 1440 pixels), 120Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The main camera with Zeiss optics claims to be the flagship one - the main module uses a 1/1.31-inch Samsung GN1 sensor at 50-megapixel and optical image stabilization, it is complemented by a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module (114°), a 12-megapixel portrait module and a periscope 8-megapixel telephoto camera with optical stabilization and 5x optical zoom. The front camera is 16-megapixel.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 single-chip system became the hardware basis. The 5000mAh battery supports 80W wired charging and 50W wireless power. The smartphone can be charged to 100% in 32 minutes. Wireless charging of other gadgets (10W) is also possible.
The smartphone is protected from water and dust (IP68). A fingerprint scanner with an increased area is built under the screen. Also worth noting is the hardware mute button, which is a first for Vivo but is familiar to iPhone users.
