This update takes a look at the recent new and old series and gives you some information about them. I also announce the introduction of a new series.
First I won't continue the Settlers Online playthrough, I got the message that most people aren't interested in it. With the party games I will have to wait and see what the response to the next few videos is and then I will decide whether I will continue that series. I know I am slowing down the Hitman videos, but they actually take a long time to make but I am planning to finish that game. I will see if I can make guides for Dead Space 3 which is actually released in three days on PC but as there wasn't a demo on the PC I haven't been able to see how that will work out yet. Assuming the game works on the PC and I find that the game isn't well suited to guides I will definitely bring you a playthrough of it. That is what I should have done for Far Cry 3 and I regret I didn't. The feedback videos are looking strong, but I haven't seen a suggestion for a S12 class as of yet.
Now I also want to introduce something completely new that I think you will like a lot. I definitely appreciate each one of you watching my videos so I want to show you my appreciation by giving something back to you each month. I thought the best way to do that is with a digital download and I feel that the best platform for it is using Steam. Now I know you all don't have incredibly powerful PCs so what I will do is select a game each month that has low system requirements. If you don't have steam it is a free application for the PC which you can download at steampowered.com. So how will this series work? At around 8 days before the end of the month I will produce a video about the game I will give away explaining what it is and giving you some help to get started. Then in one of the videos for the last seven days of the month I will put a graphic on screen with a prompt in it, a bit like that. On YouTube I won't tell you which video it is, but on Facebook and Twitter I will post something to indicate which video it is. There are links to my Facebook and Twitter page in the description.
When you see the prompt just leave any comment on the video. I will then extract all the user names of the people that left a comment on the video and use random.org to rank the user names randomly. The person at the top will be the winner. On the first of the next month I will produce a video that show the random generation of the list and thus will tell you the winner. I will then message the winner on YouTube and that person needs to send me back the email address they use or want to use for steam to be able to download the game.
The last thing I want to emphasize is that I don't need you to do anything else except to leave a comment on the video which I need in order to select a random winner, although I want you to be subscribed to my channel I don't know a way to check that. This is not a promotional effort where I require you to like and favorite my videos, I just want to give you something in return for what you do for me.
