Still trying to figure out if I'm doing things wrong or the dwarves really are just That Dumb when trying to get them to go to their combat burrow positions. I THINK they keep trying to equip with things off the dead outside? But they keep winding up, for whatever reason, very out of position and get slaughtered.

Forting up for a while to just breathe and craft new gear... maybe dig deeper but not go out INTO any caverns.
