Walk Me Thru LOZ Tears Of The KIngdom Part 20
Marbled Gohma Boss Fight
This one-eyed lava roach is the source of most of the Gorons, losing their marbles, eating Marbled Rock Roast. it apparently ate Zelda, so you'll have to defeat it to save her. Its vulnerable spot is, you guessed it, its one eye. Here's how to defeat it.
Phase 1
To best this monster and expose its weak spot. Have Yunobo, rev and roll at one of its legs. When you break two of its legs, the monster will fall over and you can climb on its head and slice and dice its eye. Attack the eye until it recovers. When it starts to shake, get off. After it recovers, rinse and repeat. Be mindful as one of its legs will try to stomp you. Move out of the way as the shockwave from the stomp can hurt you. So, move well enough away from the offending leg. It also throws these rocks that are full of gun powder. The explosions sting like the dickens, so when one of those rocks start to pulse, move. You can use Ultrahand to put one of the rocks near its eye to stun it. Keep breaking the two legs and attacking the eye. Get the monster's HP to 50% and it's on to Phase 2.
Phase 2
The monster will retreat to the ceiling, and you'll need Yunobo to knock off the ceiling. It will surround you with explosive rocks. When this happens, have Yunobo break through before they explode. You can also use Ultrahand to move one of them out of the way. Now that you managed to evade the rocks, Have Yunobo charge up the wall and break one of the legs and knock it off the ceiling. When successful, the monster will fall and get stunned. That's your chance to climb the head and attack its eye. Rinse and repeat until its HP reaches 0. Obce it's dead, you'll be rewarded with a Heart container and the Secret Stone of Fire. Unfortunately, Zelda os nowhere to be found.
