I want to make it clear that Dying Light 2 is by far, one of the best if not the best game I've played on extreme difficulty. The tuning of the difficulty is so well adjusted that at times during my playthrough, I found myself wondering why other games don't adopt this style of tuning instead of just increasing health points and damage. Despite the challenges I faced during my playthrough, I found enjoyment in playing at this difficulty level. It felt like a fresh experience, akin to a game I had never played before. I took my time, not rushing through the main story, and attempted everything at a slow pace to see if it was possible to progress without resorting to any shortcuts that would speed up the expected advancement.
