War Selection is still in Early Access, so there is still more updates for this title.
Now is free to play, with some options to get or buy nations which you would like to use during the battle. Game is not easy. Well, that all is up to the match you are playing and how good are other players. You can win the match even vs players with special nation on. I lost many battles but I also won few vs players which bought or took some special nation for ,,tech points''.
This game it did made me ,,mad'' few times and I also want to quit but I don't like to give up too soon.
Case with been ,,mad'' was about some units damage power over my own troops. That was my cavalry going vs just few artillery. I think they have way to high damage and range of fire. I hope they gonna change something about that, even little bit.
6+/10 is the score for this Early Access, so far. Fact that there is no option to set up battles with AI, range and power of art.; the set up with maps, hard to get navy battles with anyone as everything focus most on the land plus few others small things are the reason for this lover score. Yet, I am waiting for full version.
Still will play and enjoy this game now, wish you all the same thing.

War Selection is an addicting pseudo-historical massive multi-player RTS game that builds upon game play elements developed by other previous major games in the genre such as Age of Empires, Rise of Nations, Empire Earth, etc. It was initially released on Steam on October 8th, 2019 and is currently free-to-play in its alpha stage of development.
In general, War Selection is a classic RTS game that focuses on macroeconomic, technological, cultural and military development culminating in huge militaristic clashes between up to 62 other human players. Victory conditions can vary by game type, but is generally achieved by destruction of all opposing players town centers or by construction of a Wonder of the World, which after completion must be held for 20 minutes.
