Warehouse & Production System... The beginning
0I think to complete this little project that started some time ago. I polished some edges and cleaned up quite a bit of old code. The idea is to keep it simple and still give a decent amount of features. Things planned are (but not limited to):
- generating and printing barcode labels,
- extract data to excel,
- user access controls based on role,
- data entry automation (via pyAutoGUI),
- data entry via SQL inserts,
- easy access to critical data by creating an intranet page like thingo,
- current stock reports,
- sales reports (moved stock in the past 12-36 months to see trends)
- integration with USB / mobile barcode scanners
I am open to critique and any recommendations when it comes to what should be included and or changed.
This will never be as massive and capable like Sage for example (I am just trying to make it as useful as possible with only the best features)
