Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader Stream 1 - Vorg boards the Von Valancius Ship & Carnage erupts!
Welcome to our new series involving the wanderer known as Vorg! He's a loner, and always has been. He wants nothing more then to simply fight alone, actively pushing everyone away that tries to step up to aid him in an actual fight, unless they don't listen to him of course!
For this stream, we started off our challenge of a journey. The goal was to minimize as much damage as we could with our followers so we can get ready for the long grind we have ahead of ourselves! Ultimately, we shot a bunch of chaos, met the typical cast of crew that we will probably not be seeing aside from space combat, and said bugger that, hitting the Iconoclast path like a rocket, steering towards the good path of being a man of the people. We did have a bit of help from one of our companions when we ran into a combat servitor, but aside from that hiccup, I was able to obtain a means to using medical kits on myself; something that early on will be absolutely vital for me to utilize if I want to win combat scenarios! Lot of talking soon after, we completed the Prologue and we are now on our way to trying to find both a Navigator and a Tech Priest to help forward our ship out of the star system we landlocked ourselves into! All this and more shall be done next stream!
One Man Army Challenge Details:
1. When in regards to normal player combat, I must be the only one present at all times. If I am forced to take a supporting character, I must give it as much distance away from me as possible for any combat scenario, and they may not be used for combat. Yellow units do not count for this rule, as I cant physically control their actions.
1.2. Under extreme circumstances where you cannot push through a fight, I may use required NPC's to be heal shuttles if the ability can be done through the usage of medkits. This is only relevant for the Prologue alone. Once I hit level 4, this handicap is removed as its the earliest point one can learn how to use medkits themselves.
2. Ship Combat is free game, NPC's can take the spots, and ship combat can be a nuisance if you don't have abilities.
3. If for any reason I see another character's skill check other then my own influencing my decisions, I cannot use that skill check. It shouldn't be a problem, but its worth mentioning.
4. If for any reason I am controlling a required character while my main character is not present, I may use them for the purpose of this challenge, but in good faith, I must follow the rules above using that character until my main character returns.
Overall, I think that covers the rules of my challenge! I am probably missing some details, but I pretty much covered what I plan to do for this series. Hope you guys like my suffering, cause I am going to get a sock load of it!
