Warlocked: The Forgotten RTS Gem on Game Boy Color! - Retro Review
19If you've been following my channel, you know RTS games like Command & Conquer are some of my favorites. This week, thanks to my backers, I dove into Warlocked, a full-fledged real-time strategy game on the Game Boy Color! It's primitive by today's standards, but surprisingly fun and impressive for the hardware. Is this Warcraft-lite handheld worth your time?
Pros: Impressive scope on GBC, fun combat, unlockable wizards, multiplayer modes, and mini-games.
Cons: Poor unit pathing, repetitive missions, slowdown with big armies.
Overall, if you love classic RTS and portable gaming, Warlocked is a hidden treasure.
