Warriors Orochi 2 - How to get the Fourth Weapon
22If you don't care for me taking about how to get the fourth weapon and such, and just want to see some action, skip to about the 7:20 mark.
A very simple guide to get a character's fourth weapon. Normally you can only get the fourth weapon by playing a chapter with a difficulty of (I think) 4 stars or higher on Hard Difficulty, or by playing any level on Chaos difficulty. SW 1 on Chaos is probably the easiest level to try this on. It goes by fairly quickly and there are four guaranteed Weapon drops (Goemon, a generic officer in the centre of the map and a generic officer on the top right and bottom left corners of the map) You can tell which one it is as they are the ones who talk trash to Sakon when he gets to those positions.
If you're wanting to try this I would recommend a few things:
* Be about Level 40 for all three characters, just in-case something bad happens
* Each character should probably have their third weapon, along with weapon attributes that increase attack (Definatly Slay, Might, Brave and Flash. Maybe elemental things like Flame and Bolt as well. Multi might also do some work as well)
* Other weapon attributes you should consider are Drain/Absorb as well if you take too many hits/like using Musou. It may also be the only time where the Rage skill might help. Agility might help the slower Power characters hit things a little faster.
* Though I never needed to use them ever, nor do I acutally show how they work, Weapon Upgrades could be a deciding factor. Best ones include Evasion, Stability, and Highflyer. I personally would strongly suggest trying to get Revival and Almighty.
* For Abilities, I recommend definitely bringing Potence, Karma, Fortitude. Possibly Recuperate, Refill, Recover and Adrenaline for HP/Musou recovery might also help. Speed/Power/Technique would probably also help if you're bringing a team consisting of just one of Speed/Power/Technique characters.
* USE THE INTERIM SAVE FUNCTION ON THE PAUSE MENU. Yes, it's like using save states. but if you get beaten by Dong Zuho (which normally happens when I do this) that's a good 5 minutes or so wasted. I didn't need to use it because Lu Bu's quite the badass, but I'll show you how to get your interim save to load at the end of the video.
* If you're struggling to get the fourth weapon for the more fragile characters, bring along a high levelled, high attack character (Lu Bu, Tadakatsu Honda, Keji Maeda and Orochi are pretty much the best examples to do this with) and have him join the fray when things get rough.
* How can you tell that you have the fourth weapon? After clearing the stage and you get to the screen where you're shown the stuff you've picked up, the fourth weapon will have a gold background and a really high attack power (about 70+)
One last thing, after getting a fourth weapon for the first time and saving, you'll get an achievement.
