Yael Breuer interviews artist Raegan Hodge about her exhibition 'Warsaw to Kyiv: Reflections of a Humanitarian Aid Worker in Poland and Ukraine. Raegen is a former aid worker for a humanitarian organisation, and her exhibition aims to show the humanity in Ukraine, whilst it marks the second anniversary of the war. Raegen is from Burgess Hill and her exhibition is being displayed in Brighton. Raegan explained that her work in Ukraine and Poland and Ukraine included documenting the lives of refugees fleeing the country. With a video installation she depicts a 22-hour train journey looking out on the “bleak but beautiful” landscape of Ukraine.
