Was Knights of the Round cut from Final Fantasy XIV 3.0: Heavensward english localization?
[SPOILER WARNING FOR FFXIV 3.0 HEAVENSWARD)
In the original japanese version of FFXIV, there are multiple dialogue references to the "Primal" "Knights of the Round" (in the japanese version, "primals" are called "banshin", meaning 'Savage God' in japanese). You can clearly listen to it if you play with japanese audio and english text, as shown in the video.
All dialogue mentions of the Heaven's Ward summoning the primal called "Knights of the Round" unto themselves were removed from the english localization of cutscenes for some reason.
Notably, Lucia also mentions "banshin" (primal) in her short dialogue line, but in english she just says "Are the Heavens' Ward truly so heckless?"
Even so, the english version does still feature the "Knights of the Round" term, but it only seems to appears on a gameplay section (during the final trial of 3.0, as the name of the spell the boss casts to summon them).
I just find it a little weird how they changed the english dialogue to always omit mention to that entity as a recognizable member of the Final Fantasy pantheon of summons...
