99% sure the Alliance team was a fairly large premade, even if they did not get all 40 into the same Battleground, they did get a lot imo. We had to reset a couple times by backcapping everything just like they did. Them having Snowfall slowed us down a little burning Icewing & Stonehearth Bunkers, but once I went to Stonehearth Bunker to cap + defend it, I was able to get enough people to come to the Bunker so we could wipe their push and finally burn it. They spent so much time trying to get Stonehearth Bunker back, that Icewing Bunker burns with little resistance, so we burned two and they only burned Iceblood Tower. This gave us the lead and allowed us to start pushing North and get those Bunkers in Dun Baldur burned so we could start killing Van!

P.S. The title is more or less true now, it seems almost all Alterac Valley matches last about 20-40 minutes in a turtle now.
