Match fixing -- intentionally throwing a competitive game for monetary gain -- is one of the most controversial topics in esports.
And last week, the Dota community blew up with accusations of match Fixing after legendary Dota player, TI winner and current coach Xiao8 allegedly said he would “eat sh*t” if a game during the StarLadder Minor Chinese qualifier wasn’t a fix.
And what’s more, we have proof that that match has been investigated by a major sports betting company.
