I have installed UPlay a quite long time ago with Lutris presets - see here:
https://lutris.net/games/uplay/


Then I downloaded the game and it did not work. To make it run you need to change the wine version in the uplay wineprefix. To do so, open Lutris, find Uplay in your list and click settings (a gear on the right panel). Then click the "Runner options" tab and the first item is the wine version. Of course it only shows the versions you have installed on your system.

I changed it to "Proton 5.0" and additionally I added these command line arguments to UPlay launch options:


-eac_launcher -nosplash


Then this game worked for me.
