Water Cutscene Skip With Fire Arrows for MST
16Revisiting this concept despite having a video for it a while back. Bakeneko made a video (see here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_5nDBFzO58 ) where he entered ganons castle for nighttime at the start of adult section. This manipulates time of day such that you will get to water temple at night and be able to perform the actions shown in the above video. It also loses about 12 seconds to go to the castle early, hence the 12s offset at the start of this video.
Technically this means that EVERY time you are in the overworld and time of day is passing, mistakes dont matter as long as you can still shoot the sun for fire arrows exactly at dawn. As you can see from my fumbling around on the tree in this video, you have some spare time. The time of day in this video when i exit water temple after the cutscene skip is the same time of day that bakeneko had in his video after playing through all the overworld sections optimally. So if you lose time in the overworld, you will have less time to perform the skulltula token delay before dawn.
