Waterworks in Infinite - That Cave Drip (Day 70)
13I took a huge hiatus for about a month! Wow, only just realized how long writing this. Anyway, I explain in detail during the stream, but essentially I moved, had internet issues at the new place which wrecked Forge's reliability, my wife had a baby, I finally got my ISP to resolve the internet issues after 4 techs had to come out, and now I'm finally ready to stream again! Thanks for sticking it out with me.
Anyway, I got to chat with Max Hoberman about the shortcomings of Waterworks in preparation of remaking it in Halo Infinite's Forge. So first off I'm making a 1:1 version, then I'm gonna give it a glow up to the modern sandbox and solve his complaints. Max Hoberman's main criticisms were:
"The bases need some love (expansion). Too small, and not very viable alternative ways to attack them. Ideally the base design pulls defenders forward, forcing them to spread out and motivating them to expose themselves."
